The Gipsy Kings at The Star Gold Coast
Celebrated rumba flamenco group The Gipsy Kings will come all the way from France to perform on the Gold Coast this May, and it’s a guaranteed Mother’s Day treat for mums that love to dance.
Since 1978, The Gipsy Kings have pushed traditional flamenco music into the spotlight with their unique style that takes influence from contemporary pop music. Over their four-decade career they’ve amassed 13 studio albums, two of which won a Latin Grammy Award and a Grammy Award for Best World Music Album. They’ve also released a multitude of singles – many of which have appeared on music charts worldwide – with just a few of their widely known songs including “Djobi, Djoba”, “Bamboléo”, “Volare”, “Baila Me” and “Pida Me La”.
Popular amongst salsa and rumba dancers, The Gipsy Kings’ live shows are as lively as their songs, and offer an authentic experience of Catalan rumba – a Cuban-influenced music genre that originated in Spain in the 1950s.

The TEN Tenors at Home of the Arts
The TEN Tenors are an internationally successful Australian tenor ensemble that have headlined more than 2,000 concerts worldwide, and this 2019, their brand new tour Love Is in the Air will see them stop on the Gold Coast at the iconic Home of the Arts in Surfers Paradise.
Since their genesis in 1995, The TEN Tenors – also known as TTT – have continued to impress with their flair for vocal harmony.
