Three spectacular and thrilling events are happening on the Gold Coast this April.

First on the list is the Gold Coast Triathalon happening on the 11th-12th of April 2015. Queensland continues its reign as Australia’s home of triathlons, with the Gold Coast hosting a leg of the ITU World Triathlon Series from 10-12 April. People of all ages and abilities will be able to get involved, with events suitable for different groups ranging from the Gold Coast Superkidz Tri, through to the Gold Coast Enticer for the rookies and the Gold Coast Triathlon for the true fitness freaks. Get down and get amongst it!

There’s also the 2015 Surf Life Saving Championships happening from the 11th – 19th of April 2015

Head down to North Kirra Beach this April to participate or cheer on our Aussies in the Surf Life Saving Championships. Our lifesavers are an integral part of our Aussie beach life, and these championships give them the chance to shine as the great athletes they are. There will be various events including the Youth Surf Life Saving Championships and the Masters Surf Life Saving Championships.

Fans of pop culture should also look to join in the Supanova Pop Culture expo from the  17th – 19th of April 2015. Our favourite pop culture expo is happening again this April! Get your best costume together and get ready for a weekend of exhibitions, competitions, activities, games and so much more! This is your chance to meet and greet some great stars in the industry such as Tony Moore, illustrator of Walking Dead comics and Arthur Suydam, the famous artist of Marvel comics.
