Each and every one of us has, at some point in our life, dreamt of being a superhero. Inspired by the likes of Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman and others, our childhood has one of the most promising and dreamy moments in our lives. We wanted to fly high. We wanted to become invisible. We wanted to be strong. We wanted to have fireballs come out of our hands. We wanted to control fire, water, air and the earth. We just simply wanted to be a superhero!
And now is the time to relive those moments of our childhood together with our very own children with the most action-packed weekend for the year! Landing at Broadbeach on April 21-23, 2017, it’s the Gold Coast Superhero Weekend! This epic weekend will consist of the Supanova Pop Culture Expo, Gold Coast Film Festival and a whole lot of energy-driven events for both the young and the young at heart.
There’s a whole lot of free activities that await everyone for the three-day event of all that is supernatural and super fun. Expect for movies in the Park, the Supanova Superhero Parade, a Star Wars Interactive Zone, Meet and Greets and a whole lot more for the entire family to be enjoying.
The 3-day event will start off with a free screening at Victoria Park of Disney Pixar’s “The Incredibles”. Have a nice movie experience while also enjoying other fun activities at the park like the jumping castle, face painting, balloon artist and live music. The event starts at 4pm.
On the second day will be a treat for comic book fans and Star Wars aficionados! Meet and greet your favourite Marvel superheroes at the Oasis Shopping Centre! Be sure to bring your cutest charms and wittiest lines to impress your superhero idol. And after, drop by Victoria Park as it hosts a free Star Wars Immersive Zone from 3pm with Jedi Training, Asteroid Field Obstacle Challenge and more. Have the feeling of traveling galaxies away with the fun and enjoyment you can get. The day finishes with a special screening of animation ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’.
The last day will be the time to flaunt the cosplayer in you! It’s the much awaited Supanova Superhero Parade. Dress in your best superhero costume and impress the crowd. This is a huge event like no other.

The Penthouse of our Gold Coast Apartment Accommodation is the perfect escape haven for a group who just wants to have fun. It has two levels and is situated on the southern half of Ocean Royale. The lower level is comprised of a master bedroom with en-suite, a single bedroom with twin beds, a full bathroom and laundry. This level also hosts the kitchen dining, and a small lounge area. The upper level has a large lounge a powder room and houses the third master bedroom with its own bathroom. The unit boasts two deck areas, the upper level houses the Sauna and some seating, whilst the lower deck has the plunge pool and outdoor tables and chairs. It can comfortably accommodate six guests.
